then you'd just have to set up your textures/materials on the clothing item.
but you might have to play with those settings, but that typically works fine. i usually set the item shapes to Default, and the projection template to none. and the target will be the clothing item. select that and the source will be the Genesis 3 Female (or whatever base you want the object to copy). when you see it in your scene select it and in the settings of that tab you should see something that says Transfer Utility. export each clothing item separately by itself make sure to check boxes for write materials, UVs, keep vertex order, AND set scale to 100%īack in Daz Studio choose the base character model (genesis3female) aaand go to file, import, select the clothing item. When they fit the base character well, select a clothing item and press Ctrl+A to apply location, rotation, scale. Import your clothes into Blender (from xps or whatever) and use Edit Mode to fit them. Props Set Poser DAZ for Ancient Rome Legionary Soldier 1 AD Cinema 4D + vue pz3 3ds obj oth: 195. Then in Blender import and if it asks to split mesh, uncheck it (but thats usually only if you plan on making morphs this way). Medieval Clothes 3D Models Collection 3ds Max + c4d ma 3ds fbx obj: 139. i set the export preset to Daz Studio, but change the scale to 1% instead of 100% (so its not huge in Blender). When i export the base model from Daz i set mesh resolution to lowest, export it as an. probably most useful for xnalara/xps, gmod/sfm, mmd, objĪhh i probably should've explained better xD
meaning you can have any outfit on any custom character as long as you can find a download for it. This should work for any filetype as long as you can import it into blender.
also if you have Fit Control, you can easily make adjustments. ^not sure is steps 5-6 are necessary, but i did it anyways. If you're familiar with both Daz and Blender it shouldn't be too difficult its something like this:ġ- export base model (i used genesis 8 female) in fbx formatĥ- (weight paint mode) transfer weights from base model to the clothesĦ- parent clothes to the base model skeletonĨ- in Daz open base model and import clothes.objĩ- use transfer utility on clothes so they morph with the bodyġ0- save clothes as a clothing preset for quick use
Wanted my custom Sarada to have her actual clothes.įigured out how to use any clothes from xnalara, or any filetype in Blender basically, in Daz.
